The site was carved from the site of the Air Rights Garage site. Once the Route 34 highway project was permanently shelved by the City and the State the land was sold to a developer to support the expansion of Yale New Haven Hospital - with the construction of the Smilow Cancer Center. The building has retail on the first floor and offices and laboratories for YNHH above.
